The domestic market started the day in deep red on global recession worries.All the sectorial indices are trading in red and among those heavy selling is seen in Capital Goods, Metal, Oil & Gas, Reality and IT stocks.
The overall market breadth is extremely negative as 1456 stocks are declining whereas 248 stocks are advancing on BSE.
BSE Sensex was down by 513 points at 10,295.52 and the Nifty was lower by 157 points to 3,181.25.
The BSE Mid Cap decreased by 162 points to 3,557.82 and the BSE Small Cap dropped by 174 points to 4,219.26.
