Bajaj Auto recorded its highest ever April sales, by reporting 17% increase in motorcycle sales to 322235 units in April 2011 against 276095 units in April 2010.
The company has also reported highest ever commercial vehicle sale of 45074 vehicles in April 2011, up by 21% as compared to 37350 vehicles sold in the same month of previous year. In total Bajaj has sold 367309 vehicles in April 2011, up by 17% over April 2010. This includes 158422 units of exports, that too are highest ever for a month, increasing by 39% against 133911 in the same month of previous year.
