Indian rupee surrendered all its gains by the end of the session on Tuesday tailing the losses of the Euro which fell broadly, despite positive close of local equities and strong regional counterparts. Euro turned weak as a lukewarm demand at an Italian debt auction added to worries over the euro zone periphery, with sentiment already hit by bickering between euro zone countries about the terms of a Greek bailout deal. Meanwhile, stronger dollar also marred the sentiment for Indian currency. The dollar rallied against the yen and Swiss franc on Monday as strong US consumer spending data reduced fears of another US recession.
