Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth a net Rs 688.70 crore on Friday, 29 May 2009, sharply higher than Rs 104.70 crore on Thursday, 28 May 2009.

MFs' net inflow of Rs 688.70 crore on 29 May 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 1748.20 crore and gross sales Rs 1059.50 crore. The BSE Sensex surged 329.24 points or 2.3% to 14,625.25 on that day.

MFs were net buyer of shares worth Rs 2,291.30 crore in May 2009.

एशियन होटल्स लिमिटेड ने यह सूचना दी है की अपनी बैठक में 19 मार्च 2009 को बोर्डों के निर्णय के बारे में, चालू वित्त वर्ष का विस्तार करने के लिए 3 महीने के द्वारा अर्थात 30 जून, 2009 को आयोजित करने की सूचना दी थी। कंपनी की बोर्ड निदेशकों की बैठक में 23 मई 2009 को, आगे की वित्तीय वर्ष की धारा 210 में कंपनी अधिनियम, 1956 के तहत एक और 3 महीने अपेक्षित अनुमोदन करने के लिए विषय से विस्तार करने का निर्णय लिया और बीएसई को आयोजित किया गया है।

तदनुसार, कंपनी शीघ्र ही कंपनी के रजिस्ट्रार की अनुमति चालू वित्तीय वर्ष अर्थात् वित्तीय वर्ष 2008-2009 के 18 महीने की अवधि के लिए 01 अप्रैल 2008 से , 30 सितंबर, 2009 तक के लिए लागू करनी होगी।

English Translation:

Asian Hotels Ltd had informed regarding Boards decision in its meeting held on March 19, 2009, to extend the current financial year by 3 months i.e. upto June 30, 2009.The Company has now informed to BSE that The Board of Directors in its meeting held on May 23, 2009, decided to further extend the financial year by another 3 months subject to requisite approvals under Section 210 of the Companies Act, 1956.

Accordingly, the Company will shortly apply to the Registrar of Companies for permission to extend the current financial year i.e. financial year 2008-2009 for a period of 18 months from April 01, 2008 to September 30, 2009.

Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth a net Rs 104.70 crore on Thursday, 28 May 2009, much lower than Rs 1003.70 crore on Wednesday, 27 May 2009. The BSE Sensex had risen 186.37 points or 1.32% to 14,296.01 on that day.

MFs were net buyer of shares worth Rs 1,602.70 crore in May 2009 (till 28 May 2009).
