Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 402.80 crore on Thursday, 4 June 2009, as against an inflow of Rs 241.80 crore on Wednesday, 3 June 2009.
MFs' net outflow of Rs 402.80 crore on 4 June 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 804.70 crore and gross sales Rs 1,207.50 crore. The BSE Sensex rose 137.78 points, or 0.93%, to 15,008.68 on that day.
MFs were net sellers of shares worth Rs 1,041.90 crore in June 2009 (till 4 June 2009).
