Ashok Leyland is planning to establish a driving school at Jaipur in Rajasthan. In this regard the company has submitted a proposal to the state government and is waiting for their response. The company is also planning to invest additional Rs 75 crore during next 18 months to augment capacity of the bus manufacturing division of its unit at Alwar in Rajasthan.
At present, the Alwar unit is manufacturing six buses per day and the company is planning to increase the capacity three times.
