English Translation:
Physical rubber prices declined further on Tuesday following the decline in the futures market, selling pressure was witnessed right from the beginning, though buying too was seen from the tyre companies but that was comparably lower.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed at Rs 221.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 224.50 while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 215 compared to its previous closing of Rs 216.
In the futures market the contract for February delivery for RSS 4 weakened to Rs 217.99 compared to its previous closing of Rs223.21 while contract for March delivery closed at Rs 222.60 compared to its previous closing of Rs228.38 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
