Chana futures are trading mixed, the near month contract is marginally up supported by gains in spot markets; the upcoming festival demand has raised the prices in the local mandis. Higher arrivals of the new crop however continued in the mandis but traders are of the view that the downside too will be limited at these lower levels. The contract for March delivery was trading at Rs 2468.00, up by 0.04% or Rs 1.00 from its previous closing of Rs 2467.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 53110 lots.
