English Translation :

Coonoor Tea Trade Association (CTTA) is likely to witness higher volume on offer for Sale No. The market is re-opening today after a fortnight closure for Christmas-New Year celebrations.

As per the initial estimates a volume of 12.45 lakh kg will be offered for sale to be conducted today and Friday. This volume is 81,000 kg more than the offer at the last auctions of 2010 but is as much as 3.87 lakh kg less than the offer this time last year.

Chennai-based Midvalley Entertainment is looking to raise Rs 60 crore through an initial public offer (IPO).The company plans to issue equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a premium to be decided through book building process. The issue is likely to open on January 10, 2011 and close on January 12, 2011.

The proceeds of this issue will be used, to spend Rs 15 crore by entering into screening agreements with 300 cinema theatres in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. It is reported that the company has also earmarked Rs 25.95 crore for renovation and up-gradation of cinema infrastructure with digital equipment.
