Guar Seed futures have extended their gains on Friday on the back of improved demand from stockiest and millers in the mandis amid reports of delayed arrivals. There are expectations of exports rising in coming weeks that could support the prices going further.
The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 2495.00, up by 0.24% or Rs 6 from its previous closing of Rs 2489.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 129270 .
The contract for February delivery was trading at Rs 2544.00, up by 0.32% or Rs 8 from its previous closing of Rs 2536.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 105140 NCDEX.
