English Translation:

India's largest manufacturer of glass bottles, Hindusthan National Glass & Industries (HNG), plans to set up a 150 MW captive power plant at a cost of Rs 800 crore, at one of its six manufacturing locations across the country. The company plants are located at Rishra (West Bengal), Bahadurgarh (Haryana), Rishikesh (Uttarakhand), Neemrana (Rajasthan), Nashik (Maharashtra) and Puducherry.

Since each state has different rules, a consultant has been appointed to identify the state best suited for the purpose. Once the state will be identified by the consultant, a detailed report will be submitted. The company expects a detailed report to be submitted by March and the intention is to generate electricity in 30 months.
