भारत सरकार देश में आर्थिक समावेश को बढ़ावा देने के लिए मोबाइल क्रांति उपयोग को बेहद तेजी से सफलता की और देख रही है। काफी मात्रा की ग्रामीण जनसंख्या ऐसी है जिनका बैंक खाता या बैंक शाखाओं तक पहुँचना आसान नहीं है और मोबाइल बैंकिंग से इस परिदृश्य को बदलने की उम्मीद है।
English Translation:
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has on Thursday issued a consultation paper to obtain views of various stakeholders on developing the mobile banking market in the country. The regulator has asked the industry participants to submit their views by November 23.
The Indian government is increasingly looking at the utilising the hugely successful mobile revolution to promote financial inclusion in the country. A large chunk of the rural population does not have bank accounts or easy access to bank branches and mobile banking is expected to change this scenario.
