हिन्दी रूपांतरसहारा फाइनेंशियल मामले पर आज सहारा प्रमुख सुब्रत राय ने भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) से मुलाकात की। यह आरबीआई के साथ उनकी दूसरी बैठक है। इसके पहले 12 जून को भी सुब्रत राय आरबीआई के अधिकारियों से मिले थे, लेकिन उस बैठक में कोई नतीजा नहीं निकला था।
इसके पहले आरबीआई ने सहारा फाइनेंशियल को बैंकिंग नियमों का पालन न करने का दोषी मानते हुए उसके जमा लेने पर रोक लगा दी थी। जिसे लेकर सहारा ने उच्च न्यायालय में अपील की थी। उच्च न्यायालय ने इस पर फैसला देते हुए आरबीआई के आदेश पर रोक लगा दी थी।
इसके बाद आरबीआई मामले को उच्चतम न्यायालय में लेकर गया, जहां उच्चतम न्यायालय ने फिर यह मामला उसी को सौंपते हुए दूसरी बार सुनवाई के लिए कहा।

Discussions will continue further between Sahara group and RBI on the fate of Sahara India Financial Corporation, after their second meeting ended late tonight on a positive note, sources said.
Sahara chief Subrata Roy, along with some senior group officials, today resumed discussions with RBI on the fate of the group's para-banking firm SIFCL, action against which was kept in abeyance by Supreme Court with a direction to the central bank to give the company a fresh hearing.
The Supreme Court had directed RBI on Monday last week to give the company a fresh hearing on June 12, after keeping in abeyance the central bank's action, including a ban on fresh deposits, against SIFCL, against which the company had obtained a stay from Allahabad High Court.
