हिन्दी रूपान्तरसिंगुर में नैनो प्रोजेक्ट के बढ़ते विरोध के बीच टाटा मोटर्स ने फैक्ट्री में काम बंद कर दिया है। टाटा मोटर्स के प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि कर्मचारियों पर हो रहे हमलों के बाद कर्मचारियों ने फैक्ट्री में काम बंद कर दिया है। कंपनी के मुताबिक तृणमूल कांग्रेस की धमकियों के मद्देनजर यह फैसला किया गया है।
गौरतलब है कि सिंगुर में बुधवार को 400 एकड़ जमीन लौटाने की मांग कर रहे प्रदर्शनकारियों ने टाटा मोटर्स कार परियोजना के कर्मचारियों पर हमला किया था।
प्रोजेक्ट के विरोध के कारण टाटा मोटर्स में कामकाज जारी रखने के लिए एक नंबर गेट से मजदूर को प्रवेश करवाया जा रहा था। यही नहीं, तृणमूल कार्यकर्ताओं ने घेराव करते हुए प्लांट का कामकाज भी ठप करवा दिया था।
