लोटस भारतीय मुचुअल फंड द्वारा नई योजना का निर्धारण - अगस्त 30 , 2008

लोटस भारतीय मुचुअल फंड ने 29 अगस्त 2008 को लोटस भारतीय तय अवधि फंड की योजना -1 की मासिक श्रृंखला 11 की पेशकश की थी । फण्ड के लिए एन एफ ओ का मूल्य 10 रुपये प्रति यूनिट हैं । यह एक कम अवधि की ऋण योजना हैं । यह योजना तय अवधि से 30 दिनों के भीतर पूरी होगी । इस योजना ने निवेशको को लाभ और उत्पत्ति के विकल्प प्रदान किए हैं ।

लाभांश के विकल्प ने पुनर्निवेश की सुविधा के अंतर्गत लाभांश को पेश करने का आदेश दिया हैं । इस योजना की कम से कम निवेश राशि 5, 000 रुपये हैं और उसके अनुसार उसका गुणनफल 1 रुपये के बराबर हैं । इस योजना के लिए किसी भी प्रकार का भारी शुल्क नही लगाया गया हैं । यदि निवेशक निधि की अवधि से पहले प्रतिदान कर लेते हैं तो उस स्थति में इस योजना पर 0.25% का भारी शुल्क लगाया जाएगा । यदि निवेशक प्रतिदान के दौरान इकाइयों को पूरा कर लेते हैं तो किसी भी प्रकार का भारी शुल्क नही लगाया जाएगा ।

Lotus India mutual fund has launched Lotus India Fixed Maturity Plans- 1 Month Series XI on 29 August 2008. The new fund offer period will be till 1 September 2008. The NFO price for the fund is Rs. 10 per unit. It is close-ended debt scheme. The scheme will mature after 30 days from the date of allotment.The investment objective of the scheme is to seek to generate income by investing in a portfolio of debt and money market instruments. The scheme offers investors growth option and dividend option.

The dividend option offers dividend re-investment facility. The minimum investment amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. There will be no entry load charged for the scheme. The scheme charges an exit load of 0.25%, if the investment is redeemed before maturity of the fund. If investors redeemed units on maturity, no exit load will be charged.

Kochi: Pepper futures market declined on Aug 29 on pessimistic operations and the September contract declined below the spot prices. September contract fell by Rs 115 a quintal to close at Rs 13,943, much below the spot price of Rs 14,200 of MG 1. The decline in other contracts was from Rs 38 to Rs 117 a quintal on NCDEX. Total turnover increased by 1,920 tonnes to 5,903 tonnes while total open interest fell by 232 tonnes to 19,874 tonnes. September declined by 444 tonnes while October and November moved up by 147 tonnes and 55 tonnes respectively.

The fresh quote from the tyre sector was slightly lower at Rs 141 a kg for sheet rubber. It is hoped that the present situation would change once the production picks ups shortly. The increase in other contracts except February was from Rs 24 to Rs 58 a quintal. Total turn over fell by 947 tonnes to 6,733 tonnes while total open interest fall by 19 tonnes to 20,110 tonnes.

September and November open interest declined by 411 tonnes and 13 tonnes respectively while October moved up by 351 tonnes. Indonesia was looking for their new crop to arrive.

Total turnover increased by 440 tonnes to 7,670 while total net open position increased by 159 tonnes to 20,129 tonnes. There was no selling pressure on spot and yet the prices dropped by Rs 200 a quintal in tandem with the futures market trend to close at Rs 13,500 (un-garbled) and Rs 14,100 (MG 1).

The markets though today open in green . The selling pressure is seen in the Realty, Oil & Gas, Banking and Power stocks. However, the Metal, Auto and Pharma stocks are trading higher in the opening trade. The BSE Mid Cap and the BSE Small Cap are also trading higher with marginal gain in the opening bell.

The overall market breadth is positive as 840 stocks are advancing whereas 732 stocks are declining on BSE.

Jai Prakash Associate reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack, as it is trading with a gain of (1.56%) at Rs.159.30 while Bharti Airtel reported the top loser down by (1.45%) at Rs.798.05.

At 10.30AM, the BSE Sensex was down by 40.15 points at 14,442.07 and the Nifty was down by 8.90 points to 4,328.60.

The BSE Mid Cap increased by 3.55 points to 5,784.32 and the BSE Small Cap improved by 11.51 points to 6,924.13.

The NFO price of the fund is Rs 10 per unit. ICICI Prudential Fixed Maturity Plan - Series 47- One Year Plan A is a close-ended debt fund.
Presently, there are two options available under the scheme i।e. retail option and institutional option. Cumulative and dividend sub-options will be available under both the options. Dividend payout is the only facility available under dividend sub-option. Retail option shall be the default option and cumulative sub option shall be the default sub-option.
The fund will have exposure up to 100% in money market instruments, short term and medium term debt securities, debt instruments and securitised debt. The investment in securitised debt will be up to 50% of the net asset of the scheme. Exposure in derivatives instruments will be up to the extent of 50% of the net assets. Lotus India mutual fund has launched new offering of Lotus India Long Term Fixed Maturity Plan-Series I- Plan A-20 Months on 18 August 2008. The new fund offer period will be till 29 August 2008. The NFO price for the fund is Rs. 10 per unit. This scheme is a close-ended income scheme. The investment objective of the scheme is to seek to generate income by investing in a portfolio of debt and money market instruments normally maturing in line with the duration of the scheme.

The scheme offers two plans namely, regular and institutional plan. Both plans will offer investors growth option and dividend option. The minimum investment amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter under regular plan and Rs. 5 lakh and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter in case of institutional plan. There will be no entry load charged for the scheme. The scheme will offer Specified transaction period for redemption/switch out. Market is trading weak after a negative opening as markets across the globe are exhibiting weakness. BSE Sensex is trading below 14,600 level and NSE Nifty is below 4,400 mark. भारतीय प्रतिभूति एवं विनिमय बोर्ड (सेबी) ने देश में पूंजी बाजार के कामकाज में और सुधार लाने के अपने प्रयासों के तहत कम्पनियों के राइट्स इश्यू लाने की समय सीमा 109 दिन से घटा कर 49 दिन करने का निर्णय किया।

सेबी के निदेशक मंडल की यहां हुई बैठक में लिए गए फैसलों का ब्यौरा देने के लिए बुलाई प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में उसके अध्यक्ष सी.बी भावे ने कहा कि यह निर्णय निवेशकों के हित में किया गया है ताकि उनका जोखिम कम किया जा सके।

उन्होंने कहा कि बैठक में शेयर बाजार में सूचीबद्ध कम्पनियों के राइट्स इश्यू लाने की सम्पूर्ण प्रक्रिया पर फिर से विचार करने की जरूरत महसूस की गई।

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has brought down the timeline for rights issue of shares. Rights issues could now be completed in just 43 days after filing, instead of the existing 109 days.

In rights issue, a company offers its existing shareholders the right to purchase additional shares of the company at a given price, which is usually at a discount to the prevailing market price of the stock. "This will reduce the risk faced by investors as under the existing system, the issue price is decided far before the issue is made.

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has set an aim of selling four million policies in rural areas in the current financial year। It sold over 5 crore insurance policies last year, of which over 1.1 crore went to rural areas. LIC said that two years ago, the insurer had sold 8 lakh policies via its alliance with NGOs, micro-finance organisations, co-operative societies and rural banks. The insurance penetration in urban India is 47 per cent, while it is only 27 per cent in rural areas.
