भारतीय बाजार शुरुआत में विश्विये स्तर पर मजबूत स्थति के बाद गिरावट में रहा । थोक मूल्य सूचीपत्र में पिछले हफ्ते 12.63% की तुलना में 16 अगस्त 2008 को 12.40% के धरातल पर रही । विश्विये क्रूड तेल का कीमते भी बढकर अचानक गिरी । समस्त विस्तृत बाजार मजबूत इस कारण है क्योकि 1589 स्टोक्स में तेजी में है और जबकि बी एस ई के 589 स्टोक्स में गिरावट है।
सुबह 11.30 पर, बी एस ई सेंसेक्स 368.39 बिन्दु से 14,416.73 पर उच्च और एन एस ई निफ्टी 102.1 बिन्दु से 4,316.10 पर गिरावट में है। बी एस ई मध्ये आवरण और बी एस ई छोटा आवरण 95.42 बिन्दु और 78.03बिन्दु 5,704.27 और पर 6,860.33 पर क्रमानुसार उच्च रूप से व्यापार कर रहे ।

English Translation

The market is trading on the front foot with its boots on tracking the strong cues from the global markets as well a the fall in India''s inflation, based on the wholesale price index to 12.40% during the week ended August 16 2008, as against 12.63% in the previous week. Also the fall in global crude oil price also boosted the sentiments. The market breadth is strong as 1589 stocks are trading in green while 589 stocks are trading in red.

At 11.30AM, the BSE Sensex is trading up by 368.39 points at 14,416.73 and NSE Nifty is trading higher by 102.1 points at 4,316.10. The BSE Mid Cap and Small Cap are trading higher by 95.42 points and 78.03 points at 5,704.27 and 6,860.33 respectively.
