English Translation

The domestic bourses are trading nervously as global economic downturn is hampering India Inc’s business. Further, the Satyam mystery is still unresolved. In a significant decision, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has proposed to set up a panel to review major aspects of Satyam’s controversies which are a part of the 30-Sensex and the 50-Share S&P CNX Nifty.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE, out of 2,303 stocks traded so far, 782 shares advanced while 1,440 shares declined. Nearly 81 shares are unchanged.
