The markets are trading in a sea saw trend with extreme volatility. The Realty, Metal, Capital Goods, IT, Power and Auto stocks are under pressure today. The Pharma and the select Oil & Gas stocks are on the buyer’s ride today. The BSE Sensex is now trading below the 8800 mark and the NSE Nifty slipped below the 2700 mark. The BSE Mid Cap And the Small Cap stocks are also out of favor today with a loss of around 1%. On the global markets front, the Asian markets are trading mostly lower as Nikkei, Hang Seng, Shanghai Composite, Straits Times and Seoul Composite index are trading lower by (3.81%), (0.71%), (0.58%), (0.68%) and (2.05%) respectively. The overall market breadth is negative as 730 stocks are advancing while 1329 stocks are declining and the 102 stocks remain unchanged on BSE.
