English Translation

The markets are now trading lower after the inflation number rose for the second consecutive week. The volatility still persists in the markets as traders square off their positions due to the January F&O series settlement. The selling pressure continued among the Power, Consumer Durables, Oil & Gas, Pharma, Capital Goods and Metal stocks. However, some bit of buying is seen among the Banking, Auto, IT and Realty stocks. The BSE Sensex is now trading below the 9250 mark and the NSE Nifty below the 2850 mark. The BSE Mid Cap And the Small Cap stocks are however trading flat. The overall market breadth is negative as 999 stocks are advancing while 1025 stocks are declining and the 113 stocks remain unchanged on BSE.
