The markets are trading with extreme volatility. The IT, Realty, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Oil & Gas and Metal stocks are on the buyer’s ride today. However the Banking and Pharma stocks are trading under pressure. The BSE Mid Cap and the Small Cap stocks have also given up their early gains and slipped below to trade in the negative territory. The BSE Mid Cap and the Small Cap index have under performed the benchmark index today and are trading with a cut of around 1% each। The BSE Sensex is now trading below the 9,200 mark and the NSE Nifty is hovering around the 2770 mark. The overall market breadth is negative as 848 stocks are advancing while 1449 stocks are declining in BSE.
