सरकार द्वारा सामाजिक योजना और साथ ही उत्तेजन पैकेज में खर्च के पीछे 218262 करोड़ रुपये पर अप्रैल-दिसम्बर के दौरान राजकोषीय में घाटा। यह संख्या पूरे वर्ष के अनुमानित बजट से ढेड गुना ज़यादा है। इस के अलावा, अनुमानित बजट 55184 करोड़ रुपये का 315 प्रतिश्त है जिससे 173830 करोड़ रुपये से ज़यादा राजकोषीय मुनाफा बढा। पहली तीन तिमाहियों में, सरकार के कुल खर्च रु 5,97216 करोड़ या 79.5 के खर्च के लिए योजना बनाई थी जो पूर्ण वित्तीय वर्ष के रूप में इसी वर्ष के आंकड़े की तुलना में 69.7 प्रतिशत थी।

English Translation

The fiscal deficit during April- December stood at Rs2,18,262 crore on the back of expenditure on social scheme as well as the stimulus packages by the government. This figure is one-and-half times more than what was estimated in the budget for the whole year. Besides this, the revenue deficit rose to over Rs 1,73,830 crore, which is 315 per cent of the budget estimate of Rs 55,184 crore. In the first three quarters, the total expenditure of the government was Rs 5,97,216 crore or 79.5 per cent of the expenditure planned for the full fiscal, as compared to the corresponding year figure of 69.7 per cent.
